What CoaPro Daily keeps

CoaPro Daily is a free game. You don't need an account. Here is everything it stores and why.

Your prompts

Each prompt is graded by CoaPro's own models (Lens and Coach), which run on CoaPro's servers. Prompts are not sent to any outside AI service.

We keep the text of your prompts for 30 days so we can review the leaderboards for cheating, then delete it. Your scores, tiles and streak stay.

If you leave prompt training on, we may keep your prompts longer to help improve CoaPro's models. Before any prompt is used for training it goes through filters that remove names, personal details and secrets, and a person reviews samples. You can turn training off at any time with the "Don't use my prompts for training" button next to the prompt box. Turning it off also covers prompts you already wrote: they fall back to the 30-day deletion.

Visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland start with training off, and can choose to turn it on.

If a prompt looks like it holds real personal data (an email address, a phone number, a card number, a password), we grade it but don't store its text at all.

Your name and email

A display name is optional and only appears on the boards. An email is optional and only used for CoaPro Daily updates, sent from tate@coapro.org. Every update has an unsubscribe link. If your email is a work address, your company's name (taken from the email domain) can appear on the company board once three people from it have played in a week. A company can ask to be hidden from that board.

Your device

One cookie remembers your device so your tries, streak and name stay with you. We store only a scrambled version of it. To protect against abuse we count tries per network each day, using a scrambled form of your IP address that changes every day.

What we never do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your prompts with anyone outside CoaPro. CoaPro Daily is kept completely separate from the data of CoaPro's business customers.

Questions or deletion

Email tate@coapro.org to ask what we hold or to have it deleted.
